I am a Registered Psychotherapist and Counsellor in Ontario, Canada. Growing up as a competitive figure skater, I learned of my scoliosis at the age of 12 and they wanted to operate right away. As a family, we decided to seek non-operative treatment and I continued to figure skate. Skip forward 15 + years I continue to be on the ice where I coach skating and I continue with my scoliosis exercises. I was born and live in Vancouver B.C. Canada, where I practice online. I was diagnosed at 10 with scoliosis and wore a Milwaukee brace from 11 to 15. I Proactively informed my college, choosing scoliosis as my topic for presentations.
