More About the Internship Opportunities

Fundraising

In this role, you have opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the nonprofit sector, working on fundraising campaigns and donor relations. Your responsibilities would include assisting in planning and executing fundraising events and campaigns, research potential donors and funding opportunities, and preparing and distributing fundraising materials, including brochures and newsletters.

Podcast Production

In this role, you will assist in the production and distribution of our podcast series - The Scoli Squad Podcast. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in podcast production, storytelling, and audio editing. Your responsibilities would include assisting in planning and scheduling podcast episodes, collaborating with hosts and guests to ensure high-quality content, audio editing, and creating social media content to promote episodes.

Social Media & Marketing

In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in social media, digital marketing, content creation, and marketing strategy while helping grow the Scolios-us brand and online presence. Responsibilities include developing engaging content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, scheduling posts, analyzing social media performance, and assisting with marketing strategies and campaigns. You will also conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and help plan and execute events and promotional activities.

Blogging

In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in blog writing, content development, and digital communications while helping share meaningful and engaging content with the Scolios-us community. Responsibilities include helping write, coordinate, or organize at least one blog post per month, identifying relevant topics, collaborating with guest contributors, editing and formatting submissions, and assisting with publishing content on the Scolios-us website.

Internship Expectations & Timelines

Time Commitment: 40 hours minimum (about 2 hours per week)

Spring 2027 Internship: January 4, 2027 - June 1, 2027

Applications due December 1, 2026

Summer 2027 Internship: May 1, 2027 - September 1, 2027

Applications due April 1, 2027

Role Expectations:

> Meet regularly with the team and actively participate in discussions
> Complete assigned tasks and meet agreed-upon deadlines
> Be dependable, engaged, and responsive to team communication
> Take initiative and look for ways to support ongoing projects
> Complete monthly time logs to document your hours and progress

Upon successful completion of your internship, you may be eligible to continue interning with us based on your performance and contributions.
